The No. 2 Michigan Wolverines are in the midst of a dream season, though it’s come with major distractions. The on-field product has been undeniably impressive, but sign-stealing accusations have created an off-field soap opera that seems to end with a new cliffhanger daily. All the while, the Wolverines remain firmly in the hunt for a third consecutive Big Ten championship and College Football Playoff berth.Â
At the heart of the investigation is staffer Connor Stalions, who allegedly bought tickets for more than 30 games (many of them Big Ten) and used “illegal technology” to steal signs. Stalions has been suspended with pay pending the outcome of the NCAA’s investigation. CBS Sports will be here to update this story with the latest developments from the Michigan sign-stealing scandal as they become available.Â
