Arizona will be attempting to defend its Pac-12 Tournament in Las Vegas as the No. 1 seed of the final league tourney as we know it. The Wildcats earned a first-round bye after defeating UCLA earlier this week to clinch the regular-season conference title and will play the winner of No. 8 Washington vs. No. 9 USC on Thursday in the quarterfinals.
This will mark the final Pac-12 Tournament with full membership because of realignment. Oregon, UCLA, USC and Washington are joining the Big Ten; Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Utah will become members of the Big 12; and Cal and Stanford are leaving in favor of the ACC.
Washington State earned the No. 2 seed and will play the winner of No. 7 Cal vs. No.10 Stanford. The Cougars have been one of the surprising stories of the college basketball season and are a lock to reach their first NCAA Tournament since 2008
Colorado earned the No. 3 seed and will play the winner of No. 6 Utah vs. No. 11 Arizona State. The Buffaloes head into the final week of the tournament on the bubble and will need to win at least one game at the conference tournament to secure an at-large bid.
Oregon finished with a 12-8 record in conference play and will need to run the table to earn a spot in the Big Dance. The No. 4-seeded Ducks play the winner of No. 5 UCLA vs. No. 12 Oregon State in the quarterfinals.
