Crewe Alexandra have made their fourth summer signing by bringing in Max Sanders from League One club Leyton Orient for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old former Brighton, Wimbledon and Lincoln City midfielder has signed a two-year deal.
He follows the arrival of strikers Jack Lankester and Kane Hemmings – and Bristol City defender Jamie Knight-Lebel on loan.
The Alex have lost two players since losing the League Two play-off final in May – former captain Luke Offord and striker Elliott Nevitt to Gillingham.
