Jessy Huebner, a 15-year-old Port St. Lucie resident, doubled up with one birdie on Monday at Club Adena in Ocala.
Huebner birdied the 18th hole to cap a 67 and won the 70th Florida Junior Boys Championship by one shot over Henry Robards of Ponte Vedra Beach (66) and Palmer Haynes of Orlando (68) at 13-under-par 199.
Robards, an Episcopal graduate and an incoming freshman at Mercer, was in the clubhouse tied with Haynes for the lead when Huebner made the clinching birdie. Robards birdied Nos. 16 and 18 to cap a bogey-free round.
Ryan Nicholson (67), a Nease graduate, finished alone in fourth at 11-under. He birdied Nos. 6, 7 and 9 but played the back nine at even par.
Huebner also won the boys 13-15 division under a new format where players from 13 to 18 play the same tees. He was four shots clear of Sohan Patel (70) of Weston and William Lisle (70) of Bradenton.
Jaspreet Kondal (71) of St. Augustine tied for eighth overall and for third in the 13-15 division at 7-under 205. Samuel Ha (72) and Ambrose Kinnare (72) of St. Augustine tied for sixth in the 13-15 division.
