The finish of the NASCAR Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway is postponed to Monday morning, NASCAR announced Sunday.
The race, which is at 52 laps completed out of 200 laps scheduled, will resume at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. CT on Monday. USA Network will have the race broadcast.
The initial race start time was delayed by more than two hours due to rain, and the field ran through the 45-lap first stage before having to come down pit road for a red flag after 52 laps. Scattered storms have made the entire weekend a stop-and-start endeavor in Michigan.
Chase Elliott is the race leader.
