NASCAR’s regular season continues winding down. This week, the Cup Series comes to Daytona for Race 25 of the 26-race regular season.
The Xfinity Series is also at Daytona this weekend. And Sunday brings even more action, though not at NASCAR’s Daytona mothership.
Here’s the rundown.
Friday: Xfinity Series race after qualifying at Daytona
Lineups are set for both Cup and Xfinity races during the afternoon, with 250 miles of Wawa action in the evening.

Saturday: Race 25 of NASCAR Cup Series regular season, at Daytona
With two weeks left in the regular season, look for Daytona to mix up the playoff standings. Daytona always offers a chance for a surprise winner who can parlay victory into a playoff berth. But Daytona can also relegate a driver to the business end of a tow truck and ruin all best laid plans.

Sunday brings more NASCAR racing
Sunday is a busy day of racing, with three NASCAR racing organizations cranking the engines. NASCAR’s Truck Series begins its playoffs at the Milwaukee Mile, while NASCAR’s ARCA Series also races there. NASCAR’s sports-car organization, IMSA, races Sunday at Virginia International Raceway.
