Paris Saint-Germain are looking to extend Vitinha’s (24) contract, according to a report from L’Equipe. The 24-year-old Portugal international midfielder joined PSG in a €42m deal from formative club FC Porto. After an underwhelming debut season marred with inconsistent performances, Vitinha flourished under the tutelage of Luis Enrique. Apart from Kylian Mbappé, Vitinha was arguably the most reliable outfield player for Les Parisiens.
The 24-year-old Vitinha has reportedly grown in stature in the PSG dressing room as well as in popularity within the Parc des Princes stands. The outlet understands that PSG executives would like to extend Vitinha’s contract beyond 2027. The 21-time Portugal international logged eleven goals and nine assists in 95 games with Les Parisiens. Vitinha started PSG’s season-opening 4-1 away win at Le Havre and is expected to feature against Montpellier this Friday at the Parc des Princes.
