Talladega Superspeedway NASCAR Cup Series 2025 dates are official and there is one major change.
Usually, the fall race falls as part of the Round of 12 in the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs, but in 2025 the race is pushed back three weeks to be the middle race of the Round of 8. The NASCAR Cup Series will come to the track on April 27 and October 19 in 2025, both Sunday races. The spring race is in its normal spot on the schedule but a week later because the series is taking off for the Easter Holiday.
The spring Cup Series race will be joined by the Xfinity series on Saturday, April 26. The fall date will be a busy weekend with trucks racing on Friday the 17th and Xfinity racing the 18th. The ARCA series usually joins NASCAR at Talladega in the spring but it has not released a 2025 schedule.

The big change with the fall race moving to the Round of 8 is that if the winner is in the playoffs, they earn a spot in the championship race in November at Phoenix. Other races around the Southeast on the 2025 schedule include two dates in Atlanta on February 23 and June 28. Nashville, Tennessee, gets a race on June 1.
Times have not been announced for the Cup Series races but the spring race will be on a Fox Sports affiliated channel with the fall race being on an NBC affiliated channel.
Talladega Superspeedway still has its 2024 fall date on October 6 but action starts Friday with a Truck Series race. Xfinity will run Saturday.
