Despite contact from Cole Custer on the penultimate lap of NASCAR Overtime, Joe Gibbs Racing’s Christopher Bell survived to win the Sport Clips Haircuts VFW Help a Hero 200 at Darlington Raceway.
The driver of the No. 20 Toyota was dominant in South Carolina, leading 108 of 150 laps to finish ahead of runner-up finisher Custer.
Sheldon Creed, Chase Elliott and Sammy Smith rounded out the top five.

Jesse Love, Shane van Gisbergen, Chandler Smith, Austin Hill and Justin Allgaier completed the top 10.
Creed was leading before AJ Allmendinger cut a right-front tire in the closing laps of regulation, sending Allmendinger into the SAFER barrier and triggering the final caution of the day. All lead-lap cars pit, propelling Bell to the lead on the overtime restart alongside Custer while Creed fell to third.
The Xfinity Series returns to action next Saturday at Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Focused Health 250 at 3 p.m. ET (USA Network, PRN Radio, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, NBC Sports App).
