Chase Briscoe won Sunday’s Southern 500 to grab the final NASCAR Cup Series playoff spot in the regular season finale.
Briscoe is the lone Stewart-Haas Racing driver into the Cup playoffs, and his entry knocked out Chris Buescher from the playoffs.
Tyler Reddick won the regular season championship by one point over Kyle Larson to get the extra playoff points heading into the next round, starting next week in Atlanta.
