The NASCAR Cup Series begins its first playoff race weekend with qualifying on Saturday at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Daniel Suarez won the first Atlanta race of the season in a three-wide finish involving Kyle Busch and Ryan Blaney back in February during the second weekend of the season.
Six months later, Busch is not in the playoff field as they begin with the Round of 16 on Sunday.
