Roblox’s Sol’s RNG Era 9 update has added a bunch of new content, including fresh Gears and new Auras. It also cleaned up some of the other gameplay mechanics to provide a more seamless experience—and we have the key patch notes.
Sol’s RNG is an addictive roll-based title that hinges on luck and rerolls to unlock and acquire the game’s main content. There are also some wackier items from time to time, such as the Watermelon in Lime and Jake quest and the Merchant Tracker.
The developer isn’t keen to stand around and watch Sol’s RNG rest on its laurels, though, which is why the Era 9 update is important to the Roblox game’s growth and development. Check out the important changes below.
Everything included in Sol’s RNG Era 9 update (Sept. 16)
New Auras
Auras are a huge part of Sol RNG‘s gameplay loop, and the developer has gone ahead and added a whole new bunch of them, including Aegis, Apostolos, Ash, Atlas, Lost Soul, Matrix, Nihility, Origin, Overdrive, Overseer, Player, and Savior.
If you’ve played Sol RNG before, you already know the deal when it comes to the gameplay: high roll odds, meaning many rolls are required. Be warned, some of the new Auras are well into the hundreds of millions when it comes to chances of getting them, so strap yourself in for the long haul.
New Gears
Along with new Auras, say hello to new Gear too. The Hologrammer and Ragnaröker are the newest additions to the lineup in Jake’s Workshop. They offer much-needed stat boosts, including base luck increases and increased roll speed to power through more RNG rolls.
Furthermore, Sol RNG‘s Gears have now been divided into new tiers. You can check out the whole list of reworked tiers below:
- T0: Basic Glove
- T1: Luck Glove, Lunar Device, Solar Device
- T2: Eclipse Device
- T3: Jackpot Gauntlet*, Exo Gauntlet, Windstorm Device
- T4: Subzero Device, Flesh Device*
- T5: Galactic Device, Gravitational Device*, Volcanic Device
- T6: Exoflex Device, Hologrammer
- T7: Ragnaröker
- T16: Archangel Device
- T∞: Subspace Tripmine, dwjk pillow, Shoney pillow
