The 2024 season has been a magical one for the Mets, and now only the Los Angeles Dodgers stand in the way of a World Series appearance.
With Game 1 in Los Angeles set for 8:15 p.m. on Sunday night, the Mets announced their NLCS roster on Sunday morning, which features one prominent return.

Analysis
Unlike the previous two rounds, the Mets elected to go with just 12 pitchers, leaving Adam Ottavino off the roster.
With the extra position player spot, the Mets are carrying both Luisangel Acuña and Jeff McNeil, giving them some more versatility off the bench.
McNeil played a pair of Arizona Fall League games as pseudo-rehab appearances, recording a pair of hits
McNeil was placed on the IL on Sept. 8 with a fractured right wrist following a hit-by-pitch. It was a down season for the veteran, who had a career-low .238 batting average, driving in 44 runs with 12 home runs.
