Former Buffalo Sabres forward Sam Reinhart had a career year with the Florida Panthers in 2023-24. In 82 games, the 28-year-old set new career highs with 57 goals and 94 points. Now, he is right back to dominating in 2024-25.

Reinhart was named the NHL’s First Star for the Week of Oct. 14 to Oct. 20. He certainly earned this honor, as he had five goals, nine points, and a plus-7 rating in four games for the Panthers this past week.

After this sensational week, Reinhart now has five goals, 12 points, and a plus-5 rating in his first seven games this campaign. He has been magnificent, and the Sabres are undoubtedly missing him right now.
