NASCAR playoff picture: Xfinity Series points standings after Martinsville, who’s in Championship 4

Cole Custer will have a chance to defend his NASCAR Xfinity Series championship, but he’ll have a tough group to fight off.

The Championship 4 is set for next week at Phoenix Raceway.

Sam Mayer was eliminated from the playoffs before the race was over when he went behind the wall after suffering heavy front end damage.

Chandler Smith and Sammy Smith were battling for the win late but were not able to beat Aric Almirola in the closing laps in Saturday’s National Debt Relief at Martinsville Speedway.
