Logan Mailloux is the Howie’s Hockey Tape AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Nov. 3.
Mailloux was sent back to the Rocket on Oct.30 and proceeded to post an assist in his first game back in the AHL. He then exploded for a goal and three assists in a 6-2 Rocket win to help his team improve to 8-1.

The 21-year-old now has nine points in four AHL games, tying him for 15th in league scoring and tying him with Luca Cagnoni for the lead in scoring among defensemen despite playing five less games.
The Belle River, ON., native notched three points in five games with the Canadiens but struggled in his own end.
With the Rocket leading the North Division and only six NHL games under his belt Mailloux has a chance to develop his defensive game in Laval with a strong group of players around him.
Mailloux made the AHL All-Rookie Team last season after recording 13 goals and 47 points in 72 games.
