CNBC has released their 2024 NHL team valuations, and the Columbus Blue Jackets ranked 32nd in the league.
The article headlines that the average NHL franchise is worth $1.92 billion. It also highlights what every NHL team is worth.

The top team, to no surprise, is the Toronto Maple Leafs, valued at $4 billion. That is followed by the New York Rangers ($3.5B), Montreal Canadiens ($3.1B), Los Angeles Kings ($2.85B), and to round out the top five, the Boston Bruins ($2.75B).
Other notable teams are:
6. Edmonton Oilers: $2.65 billion
7. Chicago Blackhawks: $2.6 billion
10. Detroit Red Wings: $2.05 billion
14. Vegas Golden Knights: $1.85 billion
17. Pittsburgh Penguins: $1.75 billion
20. Seattle Kraken: $1.6 billion
28. Utah Hockey Club: $1.2 billion
31. Winnipeg Jets: $1.1 billion
Lastly, in last place at 32, the Blue Jackets are worth $1 billion; they have $148 million in revenue, which is owned by John McConnell and Nationwide. The Blue Jackets also have a 13% debt as % of value, which is in 25th in the NHL.
