The New York Rangers have already traded Jacob Trouba, but the team may not be done making moves just yet.
Despite the monumental trade of Trouba, the Rangers have continued to struggle as their issues are only getting worse and more noticeable.
Rangers general manager Chris Drury remains eager to shake up the team.
“It’s not going to be a surprise for anyone to hear that the Rangers are open for business,” Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman said.
“I think they are willing to consider all options. They want to hear what ideas people have. And they’re listening to what could be out there for them.”
What kind of move can the Blueshirts even make?
Players such as Chris Kreider, Kaapo Kakko and Ryan Lindgren have been the subject of some trade rumors.
It’s unclear what the market looks like for New York’s veteran players while the Rangers need to get exactly what they are looking for in a deal for Kakko according to TSN’s Darren Dreger.
The Rangers have lost nine out of their last 12 games, so either the team needs to figure it out quickly or major changes could be coming in New York.
