Inter Milan stalwart Denzel Dumfries admits he is enjoying his life at Giuseppe Meazza after another crucial Serie A win.
During a post-Lazio conference via FCInterNews, the 28-year-old provided his assessment of Inter’s 6-0 dominant triumph last night.
“It was an important match for us,” Dumfries said. “We prepared for the match in the best possible way and we are very happy to have won.
“We have shown that we are a strong team.”
Dumfries was exceptional at the Stadio Olimpico, earning the ‘Man of the Match’ award.
Indeed, the Dutchman first set Federico Dimarco up for Inter’r second on the stroke of halftime.
He then scored a thumping header early in the second half to make it 4-0.
Furthermore, he was a menace for Lazio’s defenders all night with his signature overlapping runs down the right flank.
Interestingly, he was one of Inter’s six scorers in the capital.
“Six different players scored, and this is a clear sign,” Dumfries added. “At Inter, we have fun, and we showed that.”

“Last year, I had an injury and then came back, now I want to keep going like this.”

“For me, it’s like a family, I get along well with everyone,” Dumfries was adamant.
“I wanted to stay and we want to continue working in this way, Inter has a special place in my heart.”
