Dominik Mysterio has been considered one of the most hated heels in WWE in recent years. Every appearance guarantees a sea of boos, but that might change soon after this week’s Monday Night RAW.
Dominik Mysterio solidified himself as one of the most hated heels when he betrayed Rey Mysterio and Edge in 2022 and joined The Judgment Day, where his villainous side continued to foster. The hatred intensified when he feuded with his entire family en route to WrestleMania 39 and betrayed Rhea Ripley this year at SummerSlam. However, his recent actions on this week’s WWE RAW might hint that he might be set for a face turn soon.
For this list, we will look at three signs Dominik Mysterio will turn babyface after this week’s WWE RAW.
#3. Dominik Mysterio stood up against Finn Balor
This week’s WWE RAW featured a backstage segment of The Judgment Day, having a heated discussion. Liv Morgan and Finn Balor were seen bickering and refusing to talk to each other, and it was Dom who calmed everybody down.
Mysterio taking the initiative is not the only notable moment in the segment, but also how he stood up against Balor for Liv and himself. He even volunteered to talk to Adam Pearce to schedule a match against Damian Priest to step up for the family.
#2. Dominik Mysterio faced a former World Heavyweight Champion without needing reinforcement
As mentioned above, Dominik managed to schedule a singles match against Damian this week on WWE RAW. Although the match finished, and other members of The Judgment Day got involved, Mysterio held the fort on his own.
Unlike before, Dominik didn’t rely on the rest of his members for help, and it seemed like he handled everything well by himself. Although Carlito and JD McDonagh were spotted hiding in plain sight, the former North American Champion didn’t necessarily call for help, and if anything, it seemed like he was confident enough to handle everything by himself.
#1. Dominik Mysterio was against The New Day’s decision
Aside from Dominik, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are another set of superstars emerging as hated heels. Since kicking out Big E from The New Day a few weeks ago, everybody turned their backs on them, even Kofi’s mother and Mysterio himself.
During a backstage segment, Dom said that while he also didn’t like Big E, he didn’t understand why The New Day did what they did and even said that they took things too far with the former WWE Champion.
