The Viper Randy Orton has been out on the shelf for weeks now, after a massive attack from Kevin Owens on SmackDown. Orton and Owens were intially set to face each other at WWE Crown Jewel 2024. However, even before the bell could ring, both men brawled with each other, eventually leading to officials separating them.
Orton wanted revenge and demanded a rematch on SmackDown following the premium live event. However, Kevin Owens snapped and delivered a Piledriver to his former friend, leaving the WWE Universe in shock. The former world champion has been out of action ever since, and his return to the squared circle is still awaited by millions around the world.
Recently, Orton’s wife, Kim Orton, shared a picture of the couple on Instagram. The latter also stated that all she wanted for Christmas was her husband.
WWE Superstar Nia Jax commented on Kim’s post, appreciating the latter’s look in the picture. The WWE Women’s Champion sent a three-word message to Kim on her Instagram post.
“You look stunning,” wrote Nia Jax.
When will Randy Orton return to the squared circle
Kevin Owens’ brutal attack on Randy Orton has left the WWE Universe worried about The Viper’s future in the squared circle. Having returned from serious back and neck injuries last year at Survivor Series, Owens’ targeted attack on his neck has brought a lot of concern over Orton’s future.
While Randy Orton’s return date is still uncertain, it is clear that The Viper will make a comeback to take down his former friend. A lot of speculation towards Orton dethroning Cody Rhodes, after he was done with Owens, has also surfaced online.
However, a recent report has cleared that there are currently no plans for Orton to dethrone Cody Rhodes as the Undisputed WWE Champion. Time will tell what WWE has in store for the legend.
