Wednesday night is the ultimate opportunity for NHL fans, with a stacked slate of thrilling matchups that fans eagerly anticipate. The game that sticks out is the return of blueliner Drew Doughty for the LA Kings as they take on the defending Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers.
For bettors, this matchup provides a chance to capitalize on some of our recent strong trends, like our 12-5 record on our last 17 picks, our 8-2 record on our last ten player prop picks and our 15-6 record on our last 21 moneyline picks.

LA Kings vs Florida Panthers Best Bets:
The Panthers have a mediocre 7-8-1 record in their last 16 games with their offence suffering due to a 2.44 goals per game average. This was very evident in their 4-1 loss versus the Golden Knights on Sunday.

Four days of prep later, they look to contend with the tough defensive powerhouse that is the LA Kings. They have the fourth-best goals against average at 2.51 this season but it’s started to show signs of slowing down with a 2-5-1 record despite a 2.75 goals against average in their last eight games.
I expect a massive boost with the presence of one of the teams biggest leaders in Doughty back in the lineup after being out since the preseason. The 35-year-old London, Ontario native plays a big role for the Kings as he played the second-most minutes in the league last season at 25:48 and second on the team in blocked shots with 142 trailing just behind Matt Roy.
Doughty also put up decent numbers despite his age with 15 goals and 35 assists for 50 points in 82 games and should help get his team on the board after recording a goal and an assist for two points over his last three games versus the Panthers.

The Kings have won seven of their last eight matchups versus the Panthers with three straight matchups going under six goals. The under has also hit in seven of the Panthers last ten home games.
