If there’s anything we know about Lucas Glover, it’s that he tells it as it is.
The six-time PGA Tour winner recently was on Sirius XM PGA Tour Radio talking about AimPoint putting, and he’s not a fan. He wants it banned from the PGA Tour.
“AimPoint, statistically, hasn’t helped anybody make more putts since its inception on the PGA Tour. Statistics have beared that out,” he said.
“It’s also kinda rude to be up near the hole, stomping around, figuring out where the break is in your feet.
“It needs to be banned. It takes forever.”
Wow. Strong words from Lucas Glover.
He wants Aimpoint banned from the Tour! Why?
1. It’s slow
2. Stomping around the flag is rude
3. The data shows it doesn’t help anyway
Do you agree? I know it’s annoying to watch, regardless of these factors. pic.twitter.com/AYEF3vMmst

A growing number of PGA Tour players have switched to AimPoint in recent years. Safe to say Glover won’t be doing the same anytime soon.
This was just one of numerous ideas Glover has to speed up play on Tour. Here’s what else he had to say.
