Laetitia Beck holds off former U.S. Amateur champ Sophia Schubert, wins Atlantic Beach Classic

Laetitia Beck posted a bogey-free 66 at the Atlantic Beach Country Club on Saturday and won the Epson Tour Atlantic Beach Classic by three shots at 8-under-par 205.

Beck, a native of Israel and a veteran of 105 LPGA starts, began the day with a three-shot lead and never let up, making three birdies in a row at Nos. 5, 6 and 7, then keeping a safe distance from hard-charging Sophia Schubert with birdies at Nos. 13 and 15.

Beck earned $37,500.

Schubert, a former University of Texas player who won the 2017 U.S. Women’s Amateur, shot a tournament-record 63 to finish at 5-under. She also did not make a bogey and played her last seven holes at 6-under, with an eagle-two at the par-4 17th hole.

Schubert is also an LPGA veteran who is trying to regain her card on the Epson Tour. She has 55 LPGA starts and finish solo second at the 2022 Evian Championship.

The top 15 players on the Epson Tour points list at the end of the season earn LPGA cards for 2026.

Bi Shin (67) of South Korea was solo third at 2-under and Amari Avery, who played at USC (68) and 18-year-old Yana Wilson (71) tied for fourth at even par.

Stephanie Connelley Eiswerth of Jacksonville had four birdies in a round of 69 and tied for 10th at 2-over. Former Jacksonville University player Jessica Welch (69) tied for 13th.
