Hashtag United player Greg Halford posted a video on Twitter showing his cheating ex-girlfriend’s belongings dumped in the garden after being thrown out through the window.
Halford, whose post has received more than three million views and 7,000 likes, had previously plied his trade at Reading, Sunderland and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
“Been far far too long but finally clearing out the cheating c**t ex stuff,” he wrote to caption his tweet.
The 38-year-old centre-back, who has played 28 Premier League games, 89 in League One and 318 in the Championship, threw away old shoeboxes, clothes, CDs, personal and even a bicycle belonging to his now ex-partner.
Former teammates including Craig Fagan and Leanne Stevens have shown their support towards Halford.
Halford also played in Scotland and in the Republic of Ireland
