The Premier League title is going to be the major focus on Wednesday night as Manchester City host Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium.
Many feel that the destination of the title will be found out by the end of this game with Arsenal currently holding a five point lead over current champions City. The key factor is that City have got two games in hand over their opponent so it is in their own hands to protect their crown.
In the earlier Premier League game between the two sides and in their FA Cup meeting, it was City that came out on top and with them in much better form than Arsenal, they are the favourites to win despite being second in the league.
Manchester City vs Arsenal predicted line-ups
There are no major absentees for City which will be a major source of confidence for Pep Guardiola, but there is some concern over Nathan Ake‘s fitness after he suffered a thigh injury in the FA Cup semi-final against Sheffield United.
The major issue for Arsenal is that they will be without William Saliba who has been a first-choice centre-back all season long until the back injury against Sporting CP in the Europa League. Takehiro Tomiyasu and Mohamed Elneny are both out, and Granit Xhaka should return.
Manchester City’s predicted line-up (3-2-4-1): Ederson; Akanji, Dias, Laporte; Stones, Rodri; Mahrez, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Grealish; Haaland.
Arsenal’s predicted line-up (4-2-3-1): Ramsdale; White, Holding, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Xhaka, Partey; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Jesus.
