The 2023 NBA draft is roughly two weeks away, which means draft prospects are currently touring the country and meeting with several teams.
For the Oklahoma City Thunder, they are looking at possibly adding three rookies to their roster as they own picks at the No. 12, No. 37 and No. 50 spots of the draft.
One name that’s been linked to the No. 12 spot is UCF forward Taylor Hendricks, who plans on working out for the Thunder in the immediate future in a pre-draft visit, per Indiana Pacers beat reporter Tony East.
The 19-year-old spent one season in college at UCF. In 34 games, he averaged 15.1 points on 47.8% shooting, seven rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.7 blocks.
Hendricks is currently projected to go before 12th in the draft, with an outside shot of him actually falling there. If the Thunder like him enough, they will likely need to jump up a couple of spots to grab him.
The 2023 NBA draft is scheduled for Thursday, June 22. A full list of prospects who’ve met with the Thunder can be read here.
