The Mets have traded minor league outfielder Rylan Bannon to the Minnesota Twins, per New York’s transactions wire.
The return is not yet known.
Bannon, 28, hit well for Triple-A Syracuse this season, slashing .254/.392/.475 with 15 home runs and 14 doubles in 342 plate appearances over 79 games.
He last played in the majors in 2023 for the Astros, getting six plate appearances in two games. Bannon also got a taste of the majors in 2022, appearing in four games for the Orioles and one game for the Braves.
In seven minor league seasons, Bannon has hit .252/.363/.450 with 105 home runs in 654 games.
