NEW YORK, NY, January 23, 2025 – SNY, the official television home of the New York Mets, today announced its exclusive spring training schedule to kick off the Mets 2025 season. Live Mets baseball swings back into action on SNY on Saturday, February 22 at 1:00 PM as the Mets host the Houston Astros at Clover Park in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
2025 marks the 20th year of the Mets on SNY. Two-decades of SNY’s Emmy Award-winning broadcasts will be celebrated throughout the entire season, starting with Gary Cohen, Keith Hernandez, and Ron Darling together in the booth for the Mets opening weekend in PSL. SNY’s Mets field reporter Steve Gelbs will also be in Florida and will do play-by-play for a handful of Spring Training games.
Former Mets All-Star Daniel Murphy will again join the SNY broadcast alongside Cohen for the Sunday, March 23 game vs. the Marlins and the Monday, March 24 game vs. the Yankees.
SNY’s Gary Apple, Jerry Blevins, and Todd Zeile will also contribute to the network’s broadcasts throughout Spring Training.
SNY’s Mets Hot Stove, presented by Northwell Health will travel to Clover Park for on-site shows Wednesday, February 19 and Thursday, February 20 at 6:30 PM. Hot Stove will be hosted by Apple along with former Mets Zeile and Blevins and will feature exclusive interviews with Mets players.
SNY’s The Mets Pod presented by Tri-State Cadillac will have a special Spring Training show on February 22. Hosts Connor Rogers and Joe DeMayo will be live from Clover Park at 12:00 PM on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter/X. Fans can subscribe to The Mets Pod at Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever they get their podcasts.
SNY studio programming will also deliver the latest from spring training every weeknight with Baseball Night in New York at 6:00 PM (5:30 PM on days preceding 6:00 PM game days) and Honda SportsNite at 11:00 PM. Both shows will provide up-to-the-minute news and highlights of the day from Port St. Lucie and from around the diamond.
