If you’re a college basketball fan looking to get in on all the conference tournament action, the latest FanDuel Sportsbook promo is for you. New users can bet $5 and get $200 in bonus bets if your first bet wins. Here’s a look at how FanDuel’s latest offer compares to other sportsbooks ahead of major college basketball conference tournaments getting underway.
FanDuel’s offer is most comparable to offers from DraftKings and bet365 among the best sportsbooks, although FanDuel’s promotion requires a user’s first bet to win in order to be credited with bonus bets. While DraftKings and bet365 are offering bonus bets regardless of the outcome of a user’s first bet, FanDuel is offering more money in bonus bets. Here’s how to sign up for the FanDuel Sportsbook promo.
FanDuel Sportsbook promo offer for the conference tournaments

While several smaller leagues got their conference tournaments going last week, the power conferences all start their tournaments this week ahead of Selection Sunday on March 16. The ACC and Big 12 conference tournaments begin March 11 while the Big East, Big Ten and SEC conference tournaments tip off March 12. Duke and Houston, the powerhouse programs in the ACC and Big 12 respectively, will look to wrap up No. 1 seeds in the NCAA tournament with strong performances in their conference tournaments.
St. John’s won the Big East regular season crown and could be in position for a No. 1 seed if it wins the conference tournament. Rick Pitino’s Red Storm have been the surprise story of the season, and could win both the Big East regular season and tournament for the first time since 1985-86. Tom Izzo’s Michigan State Spartans are also in the mix for a No. 1 seed after dominating Michigan to close out the Big Ten regular season. The Spartans won the regular season title for the first time since 2019-20 and could win their first conference tournament since 2018-19, which was the last time they went to the Final Four.
The SEC conference tournament is arguably the most unpredictable, with 13 of the league’s 16 teams projected to make the NCAA tournament according to Jerry Palm’s latest bracketology update on CBS Sports. Auburn, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee and Texas A&M are projected to be in the top eight seeds in the NCAA tournament, with the Tigers and Gators both projected to be No. 1 seeds. Auburn and Florida played in last year’s tournament final, with the Tigers winning. Alabama has won the conference tournament twice in the last four editions. Two of the 13 projected tournament teams, Arkansas and Oklahoma, are on the bubble. The conference tournament is the last opportunity for these schools to add a statement victory.
