The Jayhawks had rattled off 16 consecutive wins at home prior to that performance, but they trailed by 22 points just 11 minutes into the game. They are now having to go on the road to face a hot opponent two days later, making this a difficult scheduling spot for the Jayhawks.
Baylor opened Big 12 play with three straight losses, but it has won four consecutive games since then, including a road win at Oklahoma on Saturday. Jalen Bridges, a transfer from West Virginia, has scored in double figures in five straight games after knocking down a pair of 3-pointers late in the win over the Sooners. Baylor has gone 14-2 in its last 16 home games, while Kansas has only covered the spread once in its last five games.
