The Knicks have selected first-round pick Pacome Dadiet from the Westchester Knicks.
Dadiet was sent down to the G League earlier this weekend in an effort to keep him fresh and he returns having missed just Sunday night’s commanding win over the New Orleans Pelicans.
The youngster was able to get some reps in as he contributed 12 points on 4-of-13 shooting while hauling in six rebounds and dishing three assists across 31 minutes in Westchester’s loss to the Capital City on Sunday.
Dadiet has enjoyed some success in brief minutes during his first NBA season, appearing in 10 of the team’s first 20 games.
His last appearance came in New York’s rout of the Denver Nuggets back on Nov. 25.
He’s been on the floor more than 10 minutes just three times, the last time coming on Nov. 18 against the Washington Wizards where he played 18 minutes and scored nine points, both career highs.
The Knicks’ next game will be at home against the Orlando Magic on Tuesday.
