At least one No. 12 seed has knocked off a No. 5 in all but three NCAA Tournaments dating back to 2001. San Diego State, however, has the nation’s 10th-most efficient defense, according to KenPom. The Aztecs will have their hands full with a Charleston squad that averages nearly 81 points per game.
