So much for that theory about large stadiums impacting shooters.
The Warriors shot 54.5 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from beyond the arc as a team against the Spurs on Friday night, capturing a 144-113 win inside of the Alamodome.
Golden State had eight different players hit double-figures, including big performances from Jordan Poole (25 points, six assists, three rebounds) and Donte DiVincenzo (22 points, seven rebounds, five assists) off the bench.
Friday’s contest marked the first time that San Antonio had played at the Alamodome since 2002. The Spurs made history as part of their 50th anniversary season celebration, setting a new single-game record for attendance with 68,323 fans.
