The transfer portal will open once again Dec. 4 and create complete mayhem as marquee players enter in hopes of greener pastures.
In 2022, we hit on 90% of projected quarterback room movement. And last year, we nailed 19 of 21.
It doesn’t have to be rocket science. Let’s take another stab at it for 2025 cycle.
ALABAMA
Crimson Tide starting quarterback Jalen Milroe has another year left of eligibility after an up-and-down 2024 season. A lot of attention will be on what Milroe does with his final year of eligibility in 2025 or entering the NFL Draft.
Behind Milroe, you have redshirt sophomore Ty Simpson as the backup and then two freshman signal-callers with Austin Mack, whom Kalen DeBoer brought with him from Washington, and redshirt freshman Dylan Lonergan.
Alabama has some solid options to choose from at quarterback in 2025, but it wouldn’t surprise us to see the odd man out decide to enter the portal.
