The Eagles are heading to Super Bowl 57 after a 31-7 win over the 49ers, and Jalen Hurts had nothing but love for the Philadelphia crowd after the contest.
Hurts noted the support he received from Eagles fans early and often during his postgame interview with Fox’s Terry Bradshaw.
“Let’s take a moment to show love to these fans,” Hurts said during the presentation of the George Halas Trophy. He then let out an exultant “let’s go” yell.

The Philadelphia faithful were rowdy and loud throughout the Eagles’ victory and appeared to make life difficult for the 49ers’ quarterbacks. Backup Josh Johnson had a particular issue getting plays off and was whistled for a few delay-of-game penalties as a result of the crowd noise.
That’s part of why Hurts wanted to keep the focus on them during his interview.
“I’m not going to make this about me,” he told Bradshaw. “This is a special city. They deserve everything that’s going on. We’ve got [to win] one more.”

Then, Hurts presented the Eagles crowd with a parting gift. He led the fans on hand at Lincoln Financial Field in a performance of “Fly Eagles Fly,” using Bradshaw’s microphone.

Hurts’ vocal performance may not have been as strong as the ones on the Eagles’ Christmas album, but NFL fans and media personalities still largely appreciated that he was willing to partake in one of the team’s longstanding traditions. Some did, however, poke fun at him for being a bit off-key.
It didn’t matter how pitchy or off key he sang.
Hearing Jalen Hurts sing “FLY EAGLES FLY” during the postgame celebration – with teammates and thousands of fans – was glorious music to the ears of every Philly fan.

Jalen Hurts singing “Fly Eagles Fly” put the biggest smile on my face. I actually laughed out loud a few times because he’s usually so calm. It’s great to see him celebrate such a big success. Congratulations 🎉 !! #GoneJalen #BuiltByBama

Can’t decide if Terry Bradshaw is awful at this or the best there is. Watching Hurts lead unhinged fans in “Fly Eagles Fly” at Bradshaw’s urging was something. #NFCChampionshipGame

So, not only did Hurts give the fans a performance to remember during the game; he did it after the contest as well.
