No. 1 Oregon is locked in a battle with Wisconsin entering the fourth quarter of Saturday evening’s Big Ten showdown as the Badgers lead 13-6 after three quarters of play. Oregon’s normally explosive offense, helmed by Heisman Trophy-contending quarterback Dillon Gabriel, has largely been bottled up thus far.
Gabriel didn’t have a touchdown through the first three quarters and threw a rare interception early in the game. The Ducks only had one play of 30-plus yards and they struggled to finish drives without star wide receiver Tez Johnson, who was ruled out before the game began.
Wisconsin, meanwhile, has run the ball well behind Tawee Walker and Darrion Dupree, who have 28 carries for 128 yards thus far. While he hasn’t been efficient, quarterback Braedyn Locke has taken care of the ball thus far and was responsible for the game’s only touchdown with a 2-yard strike to Will Pauling.
