Georgia women’s golf signs Gabriella Albert and Hailey Han

ATHENS, Ga. — Gabriella Albert and Hailey Han have signed to play golf collegiately with the Georgia Bulldogs, head coach Erika Brennan announced on Wednesday.

Albert, who is from Delray Beach, Fla., is ranked as the No. 37 recruit in the Class of 2025 and has recorded 16 top-10 finishes in 34 WAGR events between 2021-24. She qualified for the 2024 U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship and won the 2022 Florida State Golf Association (FSGA) Four-Ball Championship. Albert finished second and third at the 2023 and 2024 Florida Girls’ Championships, respectively, and also notched Florida Junior Tour (FJT) victories at the 2024 Stoneybrook West Open, the 2023 Pam McCloskey-Brosnihan Open, the 2023 Vineyards Open and the 2020 Sandridge Championship.

“We are thrilled that Gabriella is a Dawg!” Brennan said. “She consistently performs at a high level and it’s evident that she loves the game and competing. She is a mature player who is capable of achieving at the highest levels, and we look for her to make an immediate impact when she arrives in Athens.”

Han, who is from Duluth, Ga., is the second-highest recruit from Georgia in the Class of 2025 and sports 19 top-10 efforts in 41 WAGR tournaments from 2021-24. She won the Georgia State Golf Association (GSGA) Junior Championship in both 2021 and 2024 and qualified for the U.S. Girls’ Junior in both of those years as well. Han also captured medalist honors at the AJGA’s 2022 Greenwood Junior Championship and claimed 10 additional individual titles in 14 tournaments played on the GSGA Junior Tour and Southeastern Junior Golf Tour between 2019-22.

“We are pumped that Hailey is a Dawg!” Brennan stated. “She works relentlessly on her game and relishes competing. Hailey consistently demonstrates her ability to compete on the big stage and we know she will make her presence felt immediately when she gets to campus.”

Georgia has a rich history in women’s golf, sporting four national championships (one team and three individual) and a league-leading 19 SEC Championships (11 team and eight individual). The Bulldogs captured the 2001 NCAA Championship, one of 21 top-10 and 29 top-20 finishes at the national championships over the last 46 years. In addition to national champion medalists Terri Moody (1981), Cindy Schreyer (1984) and Vicki Goetze (1992), 35 Georgia golfers have combined to win 64 All-America certificates.
