A hollowed-out hand grenade caused quite a stir at golf course on the island of Maui in Hawaii.
According to a story by Maui Now, Waiehu Golf Course was closed after the ordnance was found on Saturday afternoon. The safety pin on the device was intact but the striker pin was missing and there were no explosives contained within the fuse.
The golf course was later reopened. It’s unclear who left the device and why.
