San Jose Country Club teaching pro Stephanie Connelly Eiswerth has made it two in a row.
Connelly Eiswerth is the Women’s PGA Professional of the Year for the second year in a row, based on a points system in PGA events from the section to the national level.
She earned 860 points, beating out Sandra Changkija of Daytona Beach (763.33).

She finished fifth in the North Florida PGA Player of the Year standings and second in the section Women’s Player of the Year honors.
“It’s amazing, another awesome year,” said Connelly Eiswerth in a statement. “It was really good obviously playing and also with programming at [San Jose], a lot of things going really well, which is rewarding. I’m feeling more settled into teaching the game and being on this side of the business coming out of playing and coaching for a couple years. I’ve got really good support at the club, so it’s been a lot of fun and really satisfying.”
Ben Polland of Jackson, Wyoming is the PGA Male Player of the Year and Jason Caron of Oyster Bay, N.Y. is the Senior PGA Professional Player of the Year.
