BRADENTON, Fla. — Jin Young Ko’s streak of bogey-free holes ended at 95. Ko’s streak, which extended to the eighth hole of the third round of last week’s Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, ended on the 13th hole at Bradenton Country Club during the final round of the 2025 Founders Cup.
Ko was a whopping 31 under during the 95-hole stretch.
Amazingly, the 95 mark comes 19 holes shy of Ko’s own 114-hole record, set in 2019. Six years ago, Ko broke Tiger Woods’ record of 110 holes, set in 2000.
Only three LPGA players over the past 15 years have multiple streaks of bogey-free golf of 75 holes or more. Ko is joined by Lydia Ko’s 75 (2017) and 79 (2024) and Inbee Park’s 75 (2014) and 98 (2015).
Such consistency is a hallmark of greatness. Both Ko and Park, incidentally, are both now in the LPGA Hall of Fame.
Jin Young Ko, 29, is a 15-time winner on the LPGA.
