The AHL has announced suspensions to Belleville Senators forward Hayden Hodgson and Rockford Ice Hogs defenseman Artyom Levshunov.
Hodgson received a four game suspension for boarding Cleveland Monsters defenseman Ole Julian Bjorgvik-Holm in a game on Feb. 23. He will be eligible to return for the Senators game on Mar. 4 against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
He received a five minute major and a 10 minute game misconduct for boarding on the play.
The 28-year-old has six points and 100 penalty minutes in 29 games this season.
Levshunov received a one-game suspension for cross-checking Chicago Wolves defenseman Domenick Fensore in a game on Feb. 23. He was assessed a five minute major and 10 minute game misconduct for the play.
The 19-year-old has 21 points in 47 games this season.
The second overall selection in the 2024 NHL draft will be eligible to return for Rockford’s game against the Tucson Roadrunners on Mar. 1.
