On Saturday, December 28th, the Colorado Avalanche announced that they have sent forward Ondrej Pavel and a 2027 third-round pick to the Nashville Predators in exchange for forward Juuso Parssinen.

The Finnish-born player, from Hämeenlinna, Finland, has played in 15 NHL games during the 2024-25 season with the Predators. In those 15 games, he’s registered 5 points (2 goals, 3 assists), four of which came from November 6-11 in a four-game point streak.
In return for Parssinen, the Avalanche sent forward Ondrej Pavel to the Predators. Pavel made his NHL debut on November 7th, 2023. He played in 2 games that season with the Avalanche, yet didn’t record any points. In 14 games played with the Colorado Eagles (AHL), he’s tallied just two assists.
