Lycksell, 25, was recently re-assigned to the Phantoms on Dec. 22. This was after he played his first NHL game of the 2024-25 season on Dec. 21 against the Columbus Blue Jackets, where he had three shots in 10:58 of ice time. Now, he will be getting another shot with the NHL roster.

Lycksell has been on a real tear with the Phantoms, so it is not too surprising to see him get called up to the Flyers again. The skilled forward has eight points in his last four AHL games. This includes posting a hat trick and an assist in his last game against the Toronto Marlies on Dec. 20.
Lycksell has nine goals, 15 assists, and eight penalty minutes in 25 games this campaign with the Phantoms. Let’s see what the 2017 sixth-round pick can do with the Flyers during his latest chance.
