The Dallas Stars made a trade for Mikael Granlund from the San Jose Sharks just a few days ago.
In his Stars’ debut, Granlund recorded an assist on Logan Stankoven’s goal.
Granlund, 32, spent seven seasons in Minnesota where he recorded 93 goals, 224 assists, and 317 points in 461 games. He was the Wild’s ninth overall pick from the 2010 NHL Draft.
Minnesota traded Granlund to the Nashville Predators for Kevin Fiala. Granlund played five seasons in Nashville before he was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins. He was eventually traded from the Penguins to the Sharks in the Erik Karlsson deal.
He spent two seasons in San Jose before he was traded to Dallas along with Cody Ceci for a 2025 1st and 3rd round picks.
