The Vegas Golden Knights have reassigned Tanner Laczynski to the Henderson Silver Knights and have recalled Jonas Rondbjerg.
Laczynski played in five games during his call-up but wasn’t able to register a point. He averaged 8:11 of ice time and took one shot. He’ll rejoin the Silver Knights where he leads the team in points and is tied for the team lead in goals.
Rondbjerg will rejoin the Golden Knights for the second time this season despite his struggles in the AHL. Through 25 games, the 25-year-old has five goals and 10 points. In his two games in the NHL this season, he played limited minutes and did so without recording a point.
The former 2017 third-round pick has yet to have his break-out moment or mould into a definitive role and that is why he’s struggled to make a name for himself at both the NHL and AHL level.
He’ll have another opportunity to do so with the Golden Knights with Nicolas Roy and Ivan Barbashev currently injured.
