The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled defenseman Max Crozier from the Syracuse Crunch. In addition, Erik Cernak was not present at morning skate, giving the indication that he may not be available to play Monday night against Toronto.
Cernak left Thursday night in the Lightning’s win over Anahaim after just one shift. His injury has been undisclosed, but he is considered to be day-to-day.

“The news was more promising than I guess we anticipated in the beginning, so we hope he’ll be able to play in a road trip,” Jon Cooper said on Saturday after morning skate.
Crozer made his NHL season debut on January 18 against Detroit, finishing the game with 14:25 of ice time. He’s skated in 22 games with the Crunch this season, recording three goals and nine points with a plus-5 rating. He was originally drafted by Tampa Bay, 120th overall, in the fourth round of the 2019 NHL Draft.
