The contract will see Wiesblatt make $775,000 at the NHL level.
Acquired by Nashville in June from the San Jose Sharks, Wiesblatt has appeared in seven games with the Milwaukee Admirals, registering two assists in the process.
Splitting time between the Admirals and the San Jose Barracuda last season, Wiesblatt put up four goals and 13 assists for 17 points in a combined 50 regular season games.
Drafted by the Sharks in the first round of the 2020 NHL Draft, Wiesblatt was never able to establish himself with the Sharks. In getting a new contract from the Predators, they have clearly liked what Wiesblatt has brought to the table and he could potentially challenge for a role on the team in the near future.
