The Nashville Predators and Tampa Bay Lightning have created an AHL-level trade, with the Predators sending forward Anthony Angello to the Lightning in exchange for forward Jesse Ylonen.
Angello has seven goals and 14 points in 14 games with the Milwaukee Admirals this season.
Originally a fifth round pick of the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2014, Angello has 68 goals and 133 points in 320 career AHL games.
The 28-year-old has five points in 31 career NHL games, all with Pittsburgh. He last played in the NHL in April 2022.
Ylonen has eight goals and 25 points in 47 games with the Syracuse Crunch this season.
A second round pick of the Montreal Canadiens in 2018, Ylonen has 42 goals and 110 points in 167 career AHL games. He has 12 goals and 29 points in 111 career NHL games.
The 25-year-old signed with the Lightning this summer after being non-tendered by the Canadiens.
With this deal the Admirals add offensive upside to try and hold on to their first place position in the Central Division while the Crunch get a prototypical power forward in their quest to sneak into the Calder Cup Playoffs.
