The Ottawa Senators announced they have recalled forwards Jan Jenik and Angus Crookshank from their AHL affiliate Belleville Senators.
With Shane Pinto, Josh Norris, and Brady Tkachuk all out for Ottawa’s game tonight against the Winnipeg Jets both Crookshank and Jenik will play.
Crookshank has 18 goals and 33 points in 48 games with Belleville this season. He has appeared in 13 career NHL games for Ottawa, all last season, recording three points.
A fifth round pick by the Senators in 2018, Crookshank has 142 points in 188 career AHL games. He will be an unrestricted free agent at season’s end.
Jenik has seven goals and 13 points in 30 AHL games and is pointless in one game with Ottawa this season.
A third round pick of the Arizona Coyotes in 2018, Jenik has 133 points in 195 career AHL games. He will be a restricted free agent at the end of this season.
